Samuel Beckett Rozema

On May 23rd our nephew Samuel Beckett Rozema was born.  He was born at 4:19am, he weighed 8 lb 3 oz and was 21.5" long.  He is so cute and is getting so big.  He is growning fast and is even bigger currently than his brother was at the same age.  We sure do love him!!!  Here are some pictures of him from back in May along with some pictures of his sister and brother.  Love them all!

Spring and the first part of summer

Our spring and the first part of our summer was very busy.  We attended our nephew Andrew's orchestra concert.  He had been learning to play the violin all school year and this was their final concert.  I must say for a group of 5th graders they did very well!  Both our nephews Andrew and Adam played Baseball this Spring/early Summer.  They were on different teams which meant double the games for Uncle Kirby and Aunt Erin but we would not miss it.  They both did great!!!  Both of the boys were involved in Cub Scouts so we also attended Cub Scout meetings to learn all about what they had been working on.  Andrew moved up from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts which he was very excited about.

The first part of June Kirby's Dad turned 70 so we attended a nice birthday party for him which was well attended by friends and family.  Even though he is now 70 you would not know it as he is very busy and is currently in the middle of building a wood boat from scratch.

Also in June Kirby and I headed to Decatur, IL to visit some great friends that live down there.  We spent a lovely weekend with the Sloan, Shrock and Bird Families.  Kirby played some golf while I went to a very nice baby shower for Kristin Schrock given by McKenzie Sloan.  This was one of the best baby showers I have ever been to.  Also while we were there we ate a lot of great food and spent some time on Lake Decatur.  We had a great time in Decatur and can't thank the Sloan's enough for having us down.

Even though it was a busy spring and start to the summer we have enjoyed every moment of it.  Here are a few pictures from our very busy spring and first part of the summer.  Enjoy!
